Davin Helden received an undergraduate degree in biochemistry and an MBA from the University of Colorado at Boulder, graduating first in his class. He worked for over a decade in the corporate world at the world’s largest biotechnology company manufacturing human therapeutic injectable medicine. After one particularly screwy and disorganized corporate meeting in 2011, Davin and his two business partners decided to research what it would take to open a craft brewery. After three years of planning, financial models, and begging for money, Liquid Mechanics Brewing Co. threw open its doors in 2014.
