In 1993, John Burket introduced craft beer to the Odom Corporation, a family-owned, multi-state distributor in the Northwest. He also co-founded the Alaska Great Microbrewery Invitation 1994 (renamed The Great Alaska Beer & Barley Wine Festival in 2000), was involved with the planning committee for the wholesalers symposium during the Craft Brewers Conference, and has been a member of the Great Northern Brew Club since 1995. Odom Corp. won the Brewers Association Craft Beer Distributor of the Year award in 2016.
