Burghard Meyer, a brewing engineer, completed his apprenticeship as a brewer and maltster at Bolten Brewery in Korschenbroich, Germany. After graduating as an engineer in brewing and biotechnology at the Technical University Berlin, he started his job as a research assistant at VLB in 2004. Today he is the head teacher of the international training courses of VLB Berlin.
