Bob Pease is president and CEO of the Brewers Association, having served at the organization for 23 years. He assumed the role of CEO in August 2014 after four years as the organization’s chief operating officer. As CEO, Bob is directly responsible for the performance of the Brewers Association. He was hired at the Association of Brewers in 1993 as the operations director and was promoted to vice president in 1999. In 2005, Bob began directly managing the association’s Export Development Program. Since then, export of American craft beer has increased more than 144 percent. Bob regularly leads educational tastings and seminars in the international marketplace as part of the Export Development Program’s activities. In 2009, he began to work extensively on government affairs-related issues facing craft brewers and became the Brewers Association’s point person for federal excise tax legislation.
