After graduating with a B.S. in business administration from Lehigh University, Fred Glick began his restaurant career as an assistant manager for Bennigan’s. During the next 14 years, Fred grew a Hooters Restaurant franchise to 26 locations in five states including California, Oregon, Washington, Iowa, and Nebraska.
Starting in 2008, he facilitated San Diego institution Phil’s BBQ growth, adding two new locations, winning USA Today’s best ballpark food with the Padres at Petco Park, and franchising in San Diego Regional Airport. In 2013, Fred grabbed the opportunity to work on growing the Karl Strauss Brewing Company brand as brewpub chieftain, opening two flagship locations in Anaheim and Downtown Los Angeles and remodeling two existing locations.
