Jon Cross opened Call to Arms Brewing Company in Denver, CO in July of 2015. Together with his business partners Jesse Brookstein and Chris Bell, the three former Avery Brewing employees wanted to open a small, community driven brewery/taproom without the complications of a regional packaging facility. Jon has had the opportunity to work in a variety of departments on a commercial scale, including packaging, brewing, yeast management/propagation, QA/QC, and cellar management. Since the opening of Call to Arms, he has continually worked to expand the onsite laboratory program and instituted quality and sensory courses for all staff. Additionally, Jon was a graduate of the Master Brewers Program at UC Davis in June, 2010.
