Molly Brooks is the human resources manager at Karl Strauss Brewing Company in San Diego. She has a B.A. in psychology, M.A. in HR management, and is SHRM-CP and PHR certified. As a Southern California native, Molly knew she wanted to work for San Diego’s first craft brewery. What started as a love for Columbia Street Amber developed into a career crafting a company culture focused on beer and the San Diego lifestyle. Molly and her small team built an HR department from the ground up, and today they effectively support more than 1,000 team members from the main brewery and home office, including 10 Karl Strauss brewpub locations. Molly’s areas of expertise include compensation, health & wellness, hiring and retention, coaching & counseling, safety & workers’ compensation, and all things HR.
